In 1982, Tom Ford entered into the fencing industry as an installer in San Antonio, Texas. Almost six years later, Tom and his wife Wendy purchased Construction Rent-A-Fence. With one other guy and a single truck, Construction Rent-A-Fence was officially in business. For many years, Wendy single handedly managed the back end of the business while Tom managed all the field work. This allowed Construction Rent-A-Fence to deal with their customers on a more personal level. Over the years, the industry grew as did this family owned business. As Tom and Wendy's children got older, they followed in their parents' footsteps and joined the family business. As Construction Rent-A-Fence grew, they expanded to different parts of the state, helping to meet the growing needs of the ever demanding industry. With locations now in Taylor, Thrall, Manor, Dallas, Houston, Elsa, Jourdanton, and San Antonio, Construction Rent-A-Fence has met and exceeded the needs of the state. The business has not only been serving the construction fencing needs of the state, but they have also become a leading provider in the commercial permenant fencing sector. By adding this division of our company, Construction Rent-A-Fence has expanded it service area to serveral different states such as South Carolina, Louisiana, Georgia, Ohio, New York, New Mexico, Kentucky, and California, etc. Don't Let the name fool you.
